Tibetian Minority of Yunnan's Zhongdian District maintain their traditions of farming and religion. Geden Songzanlin Monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddihst monastery in Yunnan and is one of the thirteen largest lamaseries in the combined area of Tibet, Sichuan and Yunnan. It is a faithful imitation of the Dalai Lama's  Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet.
